Aziz Ansari to host the MTV Awards 2010

American Tamil funnyman, Aziz Ansari will be the host for this year’s MTV Movie Awards. He’s got together a few of his close celebrity friends to help promote the upcoming event to be held on the 6th June 2010. Check out the promo video above.

“Aziz is the perfect host for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, as he will bring his innovative comedy and distinctive style to the movie industry’s most rebellious night on television,” said Stephen Friedman, general manager of MTV.

This seems to be Aziz’s year with success in the movies, TV, stand-up and his online presence.
