Chennai based, Grammy winning recording artist Tanvi Shah releases the much awaited music video to her independent single ‘Call It Love’, which premiered on the 13th April via the artist’s website & youtube channel.
Tanvi is well known for her work in India’s popular film industries for which she sings in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. The artist also sings in Portugese, Afro-Cuban, Arabic & Spanish. The soon to be released ‘Llamalo Amor’, the Spanish version of ‘Call it Love’ was featured on Thamarai last year.
Tanvi Shah is the first Indian female to have won the coveted Grammy Award, which she shares with A.R Rahman and lyricist Gulzar, for the Best Song Written for Motion Picture or Other Visual Media for her Spanish lyrics for the song “Jai Ho”, from Slumdog Millionaire (2010). She also shares the World Soundtrack Award (2009) with Rahman and Gulzar, besides featuring in Snoop Dogg’s song, ‘Snoop Dogg Millionaire’ and also receiving the BMI Award in 2009 at London.
Tanvi, has been working on a repertoire that holds a lot of excitement. It will hit the palette of music lovers both in India and internationally.
