The Leano gear up for their new album

The Leano provide a twist to the normal hip-hoppers diet. Mixing the folk melodies of Ben Moore with the socially conscious spoken word of Arji Manuelpillai, they have mesmorised crowds across the country for over 10 years. Gracing everywhere from The Royal Festival Hall, Secret Garden and Greenman to pubs, restaurants and toilets nationally, The Leano have grown into a group guaranteed to put a smile on everyone’s face.

Their last release, "Connected", brought the hit song ‘SMILE’ which received unprecedented success on YouTube, leading to airplay on several stations.

Now, their much-awaited fourth album "Postcards to Nowhere" is set to be released. It is the culmination of two years’ work, and is promising to be their best album yet. It is an album that captures the journey of a travelling mind; the realisations, the loves and the joys through the sultry, fragile, lyrical sculpting of Arji with the folk, mood-driven music of Ben Moore. This is an album not to be missed.

On Saturday 24th November, To celebrate the release of the album, The leano are throwing a secret gig. Visit http://www.facebook.com/theleano and like the page for more info.
