Young Docs Music

We recently came across a group of musicians creating youtube videos to promote their talents. They are 'Young Docs Music,' a collective of British Asian singers (Rag, Hasan, Abi, Priyanka, Niro and Ketz) who are medical students who share a passion for music. They formed the collective after winning Face Off 2011 (representing St Georges), an inter-university dance & music competition which will be held this year at the Indigo2 on the 10th March. We have featured two videos below. The first is with Abi & Hasan performing 'Wherever you will go' by The Calling. The second is a cover of Amy Winehouse’s Valerie, performed by Priyanka on the vocals, Hasan on the guitar and the percussionist Rags on the Cajon.

Catch the group performing live at the launch of Get off the wall’s very first student night on Tuesday 14th February 2012 at Revolution in Tower Hill. The event will feature live performances from British RnB sensation ARJUN (MTV's Top 20 unsigned UK act & Kolaveri Di R&B remix fame – 3.5 million youtube views and rising) alongside DJs from BBC 1XTRA.
