We are excited to announce that the very popular Indian playback singer Benny Dayal is about launch his highly anticipated debut solo album produced by the legendry British Tamil producer Charles Bosco. His name may ring a bell and the cinema songs he sung maybe your favourite, but would you be able to recognise Benny Dayal if you bumped into it? Benny is one of the most elusive playback singers in the industry, with massive hits in Tamil & Hindi including Omana Penne from VTV (Tamil), Papu Can't Dance (Hindi) & recently Aadat Se Majboor (Hindi).
With millions of fans across the globe Benny is known for singing in a number of languages including Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, English & Arabic. He records for some of the biggest music directors in India including Harris Jayaraj, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Salim Sulaiman & AR Rahman. The upcoming album titled ''Vaazhkai Dj'' (translated Life DJ) was recorded in London & Chennai, with the rights purchased instantly by EMI Music. Recorded in Tamil, the album will feature 6 tracks in a variety of genres including reggae, R&B, Electro Koothu, Garage, Dancehall & House. One of the tracks will feature the Tamil Malaysian rapper Dr Burn. The Launch will be taking place in Chennai in the next few weeks.
