Busiest Tamil actress?

Shruti Haasan is ever so busy these days, considering how young she still is, she’s either acting in films, singing, songwriting or even composing for that matter.
At the moment, this multifaceted Tamil actress is based in Mumbai and flies in to visit her family in Chennai from time to time, while also gigging there. She is determined to try her luck again in Bollywood. Her last  Hindi flick “Luck” didn’t fare too well in the box office, although her part and acting got positive reviews from critics.
Miss Haasan is also still constantly receiving offers from the Southern industries, to act in films and she  has been getting plenty of offers to sing for films in many regional languages.
She recently sang for a Kannada film titled Prithvi, starring ‘Kannada Power’ star, Puneeth Rajakumar. But there was one condition. The producers Soorappa Babu, N. S. Rajakumar, music director Manikanth Khadri and the director of the film Jacob Varghese had to travel to Mumbai to get the song recorded. Varghese is well known as the former assistant to Kadhalar Dhinam director Kathir, during Kadhal Virus and assistant in movies like Pamela Rooks’s Dance like a man with Anoushka Shankar, and Mahesh Dattani’s Morning Raga, which featured Shabana Azmi acting and acclaimed cinematographer of Guru, Rajiv Menon, who made Kandukondain Kandukondain. Jacob’s last film, Savari, a story of twins was a big success. as.
She even stipulated the use of a particular recording studio in Mumbai, to which the film unit had no objections. Since the producers got to spend time with her, they had asked if she would be interested in acting in a Kannada film as well.
As usual the actress said that if the script is fulfilling, she has no hesitations to partake in it. You may remember her father Dr Kamal Haasan acted in a Kannada film a few years back, titled Rama Shama Bhama, which had Ramesh Aravind in it – he is the actor who starred in K Balachandar’s Duet and had success with Kamal, in comedic blockbusters like Sathi Leelavathi and Panchathantiram.
The Universal Hero’s daughter, the gorgeous Shruti, will be seen in the Telugu industry as she will be acting opposite Siddharth (Boys, Aayutha Ezhuthu) in a Walt Disney India Company Production entitled Yodha.
What a busy girl Shruti is, following in the footsteps of her illustrious family.
