Kites – first look

Reliance BIG Pictures and Rakesh Roshan’s eagerly awaited romantic film Kites will release worldwide in Hindi and English versions on 21st May, 2010, in over 60 countries.
The trailer of the Hindi version will play on 1700 screens worldwide on Friday, 12th February, to coincide with Valentine’s Day. The trailer of Kites’ English version will be released shortly on 1000 screens. The English version of Kites is presented and reworked by the well known Hollywood director Brett Ratner( Rush Hour Series, X-Men: The Last Stand).

Kites is a compelling romantic saga that goes beyond barriers, boundaries and cultures. It is a story of passion that defies every rule, of a relationship that takes two lovers on a thrilling journey filled with precious moments – and unexpected betrayal. Shot in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Santa Fe, Kites is one of the biggest films ever produced in India.
Produced by Rakesh Roshan and to be released worldwide by Anil Ambani’s ‘Reliance BIG Pictures’, Kites is directed by Anurag Basu (Life in a metro) starring Hrithik Roshan and Mexican star Barbara Mori. It also stars Kangana Ranaut (the beautiful co-star of Jayam Ravi in Dhaam Dhoom), Kabir Bedi (Octopussy, Blue) and Nick Brown.
Kites has music by Rajesh Roshan, cinematography by Ayananka Bose and stunt coordination by Hollywood’s Spiro Razatos. The English version is re-edited by Mark Helfrich (Rush Hour Series, X-Men: The Last Stand) with additional background score by Graeme Revell (Sin City, Grindhouse, Pineapple Express).
Hindi & English versions of Kites will release worldwide simultaneously on 21st May. It’s first look trailer has been unveiled in 1700 screens worldwide and was premiered at Cannes. Please view the Youtube trailer below.
