Bharath at his best.
He was once a skinny boy with amazing dance skills and the girls loved him then. But look at him now! He has become all macho and tough in his recent films and the girls love him even more! He is none other than “Chinna Thalapathy” Bharath. The actor has some extraordinary hits to his list and now after his recent romantic release “Kanden Kadhalai,” he is back to action with “Thambika Indha Ooru.” No, this is not the remake of our Super Star Rajinikanth’s film, but the title is the same. The heroine is Sana Khan from “Silambattam” and Actor Prabhu Ganesan is playing a pivotal role too. Look out for this film, which is coming in March.
Where is Raavana?
Well I can answer that. I’m talking about Mani Ratnam’s upcoming movie “Raavana.” The film is just going through its final editing stage as well as the dubbing for the film. Plus Vikram is completing last minute shots in the jungles near Pollachi. This modern Rama and Sita film is to be released in May in Tamil (Vikram-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-Prithiviraj) and Hindi (Abhishek Bachchan-Aishwariya Rai Bachchan-Vikram). Other cast members include Actors Prabhu, Karthik, Munna Simon and Priyamani.
But there is still one thing Mani Sir is struggling to decide. He is not sure whether to call the Tamil version “Raavana” or his initial title “Ashokavanam.”
Well, there’s only way to find out…
Shark for Easter!
Sura (Shark in Tamil) is 50th film of Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Sun Pictures have acquired the release rights.
The film is directed by S.P.Rajkumar with Tamanna as heroine. Mani Sharma will be bringing his ‘Pokiri’ music skills, back, with Vijay’s dancing skills as music director. Producer Sangili Murugan, who produced Vijay’s earlier hit “Kadhalukku Mariyadhai” is producing this film and is bringing a treat for Vijay fans as the film is being made on an expensive budget. Vijay is playing a role of a fisherman and most of the shooting is taking place near Pudicherry. The songs are to be shot in foreign locales.
After a quite a gap, “Ultimate Star” Ajith is back with “Asal.” Since this stylish don film is directed by Saran and music is by Bharadwaj, you can definitely expect a hit, since Ajith, Saran and Bharadwaj have had previous hits with Kadhal Mannan, Amarkalam and Attagasam. Ajith will be playing dual roles as father and son. Other cast members include Actor Prabhu, Bhavana and the sizzling Sameera Reddy. After Billa, let us wait to see this Tamil don come alive after many delays, for a February release.
