Jiiva is fit!
Jiiva is on the regular workout for his next film “Nanban” directed by Shankar. There are a few directors who request their lead actors to go under vigorous workout as it is required for their character. So, Jiiva walks 5km a day without taking a break! The actor, who is currently acting in “Vandhan Vendran”, walks from the sets of that film to the hotel he is staying at.
Jiiva has completed his first schedule of “Nanban” in Ooty and is now busy shooting “Vandhan Vendran” and “Rowthiram.” His film “Singam Puli” – in which he plays a dual role – is ready for release.

Super Star Rajinikanth’s next film Rana is directed by K.S.Ravikumar. The director already gave the star a hit with Padayappa. It is heard that Rajini will be playing THREE roles in this forthcoming film, where each character is of a different age. The youngest character will be paired with Bollywood Bombshell Deepika Padukone.
The director is trying to rope in a few more Bollywood stars in to the film, which will commence shooting very soon.
 
Nanban goes London
“Nanban” has been on a roll since the film got launched, especially with the first leg of shooting complete. Director Shankar and Music Director Harris Jeyaraj will now be flying to London to finish composing the songs of the film. One song has been complete and that is to be the “All Is Well” version from the original Hindi film "3 Idiots".
Let’s hope we get that Anniyan magic back to us!
 
Mani and his new team!
Manirathnam has a set of actors/actresses he prefers in his films such as Abishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Bachchan, Madhavan and others to name a few. But, the director has a new team lined up for his next period flick titled “Ponniyan Selvan”.
Sources say that Ilayathalapathy Vijay will be playing the title role whilst Music Maestro Illayaraja will be handling the music. With A.R.Rahman committed to international projects, the director has decided to go to his old lucky mascot.
The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised so watch this space!
