We had to share this awesome dubstep version of the Tamil song Munbe Vaa. For those who are wondering what dubstep is? A genre of electronic dance music with overwhelming bass lines and reverberant drum patterns, clipped samples, and occasional vocals! Thank you Wikipedia! The sound is slowly becoming popular within the Tamil community, especially since the release of "Breathe" by Loven & Charles Bosco. Munbe Vaa (Wasteman5 Dubstep) has been produced by Londoner Sebastian Nimmo aka Seb Nimmock. He has reworked the AR Rahman’s song "Munbe Vaa" sung by Shreya Ghoshal & Naresh Iyer from the Tamil movie Sillunu Oru Kaadhal.
The song was only released a few days ago and It will be interesting to know why Seb Nimmock has used this particular Tamil song and the image of a Sri Lankan soldier looking down the barrel of a gun as a promo image. Maybe something to do with the recent Channel 4 documentary titled Sri Lanka’s Killing Fields! Or maybe just random circumstances! What ever the reason lets hope he keeps them coming!
