‘Chiyaan’ Vikram‘s next film with director A. L. Vijay has been announced as being "Thaandavam". The film will also star Anushka Shetty (Singam, Deiva Thirumagal) and British beauty Amy Jackson (Madharasapattinam). The film will be an action-adventure flick, with music by G. V. Prakash Kumar. Shooting will begin in December!
Wedding Bells for Saif & Bebo?
It’s been a while since Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor (a.k.a. Bebo) started dating, and now it looks like the couple are ready to take the next step in their relationship! In a recent interview, Saif said that they both would like to get married by March 2012 at the latest, after the release of his next film "Agent Vinod", in which Kareena also stars. Details such as where the wedding will take place are yet to be confirmed, but it’s sure to be a grand affair with a star-studded guest list!
Superstar and Aamir
Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth and actor Aamir Khan will be joining forces to work on a public service advertisement relating to malnutrition in children in India. The duo will be involved in a whole host of promotional activities across the country, as well as making adverts, banners and posters for the cause. Rajinikanth generally doesn’t get involved in much advertising, though he was part of a campaign raising polio awareness around 20 years ago. What a great way to bring together two highly-talented individuals!
The Dirty Picture
Earlier today, the theatrical trailer for Vidya Balan‘s upcoming film "The Dirty Picture" was released. The film is based on the life of Southern siren Silk Smitha, and sexploitation in the film industry during the 80s. The film also stars Naseeruddin Shah, Tusshar Kapoor and Emraan Hashmi, and the talented Vishal-Shekhar have provided the music. The extremely popular Tamil track "Naaka Mukka" has been chosen as the theme tune for Vidya Balan’s character, and the song will feature at several points during the film. The Dirty Picture is due to be released on 2nd December – the birth anniversary of Silk Smitha.
