The UK Premiere of the award-winning film ‘The Rajini Effect’ – a quirky comedy about a Japanese guy who wants to become the next big Indian movie superstar is taking place at Cineworld Wembley on Thursday 29th May.

Directed by Norwegians Beathe Hofseth & Susann Ã?stigaard, “Light Fly, Fly High” is an award winning film about Thulasi Ekanandam, an Indian female boxer from the Southern state of Tamil Nadu.

The Dutch Burgher community occupy a unique place in modern Sri Lanka. Once a privileged class, their exalted status vanished on independence. Despite this, a small group stayed. Their story is a fascinating insight into the wicked and glamorous world of colonialism and its legacy.

Ravi & Jane is the story of two class mates who strike up a budding friendship. Starring Australian Tamil child actor Sathya Ilanko, the short film is currently doing the rounds at various international film festivals.
