 Kamal Haasan’s next!
It was announced earlier that Selvaraghavan (7G Rainbow Colony, Pudhupettai, Aayirathil Oruvan) will be directing Kamal Haasan for a film. Well the news is true as the Ulaganayagan was happy with a certain one liner he heard whilst listening to the script. The movie is to kick off early as April as soon as Selva finishes directing his brother Dhanush in “Irandam Ulagam.”
If sources are correct, Kamal Haasan will be playing a radical revolutionary in the film, and music will be handled by Junior Maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Song with a story
It’s quite common to see a song randomly popping out of nowhere in a Tamil movie, even if it has no relevance to the plot. Prabhu Deva has done the very opposite in his forthcoming release “Engeyum Kadhal” starring Jayam Ravi and Hansika Motwani. Being a choreographer, Prabhu Deva knows the importance of songs and so, has ensured that the songs play along to the storyline of the film. As most of you know, the film is a modern love story and the absence of a dappankoothu/Gaana track was evident in the album.

Meet Anuya!
Anuya is only three films old (Siva Manusula Sakthi, Madhurai Sambavam and Nagaram) but she is already a cast in Director Shankar’s “Nanban,” the remake of 3 Idiots. She will be playing Ileana’s sister in the movie which stars Vijay, Jiiva and Srikanth in the lead. "I am thrilled to work with a director like Shankar. I am equally happy about my role in the movie, which has enough scope for me to perform," says the ‘Madurai Sambavam’ actress.
Let’s hope the young girl will go far with her career.
Vettai is ready
“Vettai” will commence in less than a month according to Director Lingusamy. The director had hits such as “Run,” “Deepavali,” and even the recent “Paiya”. It was Lingusamy who gave Madhavan his first action film in “Run” and now the chocolate boy will be returning in this action flick too opposite our green-eyed actor Arya. Both will be playing brothers, and it has been heard that Arya will be playing an angry youngster whilst the latter will be playing a police officer.
Shooting will commence on March 2nd and the script is to be racy with a lot of twists and turns.
Suriya’s unique role?
There have been many films with double roles (Villain, Azhagiya Tamil Magan, Vaaranam Aayiram, Endhiran) and films with triple roles (Varalaru). Then we have Kamal Haasan’s “Dasavatharam.”
But in Suriya’s upcoming flick, “Maatran”, it is heard that the hunky actor will be donning a role that has never been done before! If sources are correct, the actor will be playing a unique role of conjoined twins – also known as Siamese twins! But Thamarai readers will have to watch this space to confirm this news from the actor himself.
