Rahman is on a break!

After his music for films such as Raavanan/Raavan, Enthiran/Robot and Jhoota Hi Sahi failed to stir up as much of a storm as his previous releases, award-winning music director A. R. Rahman has decided to spend 2011 in exile.
While the time away may reinstate and strengthen his spark of creativity and musical genius, ARR’s decision has left a lot of directors in a lurch. Ashutosh Gowarikar finally had to give the role of music director for his next film to Sohail Sen after Rahman gave no answer, and Mani Ratnam is said to be disappointed as well.
Let’s hope that that when Rahman makes his comeback, it will be one filled with his musical magic that we have all come to know and love!
